The Bosch WFMC640SS is one of the Nexxt series of Bosch washers. Nexxt washers are energy and water efficient - their water and energy consumption is 72% less than comparable models from other manufactures. Digital sensors are used to control water levels and temperature and will automatically detect the type of fabric in the machine. The WFMC640SS is equipped with an internal water heater to ensure proper water temperature.

The presets on the Bosch WFMC640SS include Delicates, Hand Wash, Sanitary, Wool and Soaking. Extra settings include Permanent Press, Heavy Duty, and Extra Rinsing. This last setting is ideal for those with sensitive skin as the machine will remove excess detergent that could irritate the skin.

The Bosch WFMC640SS washing machine has a maximum spin speed of 1200 rpm. This removes almost all excess moisture from the clothes so they require less drying time.

The Bosch WFMC640SS is built with brushless motors, suspended pump systems and special sound-deadening material to keep them exceptionally quiet while in operation. This allows the washing machine to be installed virtually anywhere in the home without worries about noise.
