The Asko WCAM1812 is a front load washing machine with integrated dryer. This is a perfect machines for anyone who is short on space for a washer/dryer set as the WCAM1812 is more compact than most stand-alone washers.

It has a condenser which eliminates the need for ventilation system and offers seamless transition from washing to drying. Simply load your dirty laundry into the machine and come back to a clean and dry clothes.

The Asko WCAM1812 has a shock absorbing system and sound insulation which makes the machine very quiet to operate. It connects to a standard 110/115 volt, 15 amp outlet and uses less than 20 gallons of water per wash.

Although the WCAM1812 is quite expensive, it is well-built and sure to give years of dependable service. The high price also gives you loads of features - wash presets for regular, synthetics, and delicates as well as complete dryer features like variable drying times between 40 to 140 minutes, air fluff cycle for 20 minutes, a cool-down cycle, a wrinkle-reducing auto-reversing action, and an end-of-program light.

The Asko WCAM1812 washer/dryer has a 1300 watt heating element and an internal water heater which boosts the  water temperature to 140 degrees F.

The Asko WCAM1812 is only available in white. In terms of energy efficiency, the WCAM1812 is rated at an economical 217 kWHrs for Annual Energy Consumption. It has a one year Parts and Labor warranty.

Everything about the Asko WCAM1812 is easy - it is easy to set up, easy to operate, and easy to clean. It washes clothes efficiently and in operation it is very quiet. It is perfect for people with limited space or plumbing for traditional stand-alone laundry machines. Although not suitable for families, it is ideal for single people or couples. The dryer is not as efficient as a stand-alone unit, but this machine is all about convenience and it delivers that to the max!

More time waiting for repair than washing clothes, Sunday, 24 May 2009 Written by Sandy Convenience Performance Reliablity Really disappointed in the ASCO combo w/d. After I bought the little machine, I have had 5 repair calls out. The belt kept slipping so I was not able to dry my clothes. ASCO gave me a huge hassle; the woman I talked to got mad and was yelling at me. She wanted proof that I had someone out for 5 repairs (they only had 3 on file). This time, I have been waiting for the service man to replace the belt for three weeks.I am dumping this ASCO and buying a GE stackable. Was this review helpful to you?
