The Kenmore Elite 45986 is a beautiful front load washing machine with a 3.8 cu/ ft capacity. It has lots of useful features and is very easy on water and electricity consumption. Its large capacity makes it ideal for a busy family, but it can be noisy if it is not installed on the level.

This washing machine is very easy to operate. The 12 presets give you lots of options for our various types of laundry. In addition to the presets, there are also extra settings for quick washing, heavy-duty washing, extra rinsing, and extra spin.

The Kenmore Elite 45986 washing machine has 6 spin speeds and 6 temperature levels. The water level is adjusted automatically determined by the amount of laundry in the machine. In addition to the standard bleach and fabric softener dispensers there are also dispensers for detergent and pre-wash.

This washing machine has a stainless steel tub which is easy to clean will give extra years of service.

The Kenmore Elite 45986 is only available in grey. In terms of energy efficiency, the 45986 is rated at a very respectable 220 kWHrs for Annual Energy Consumption. It has a one year Parts and Labor warranty.

The Kenmore Elite 45986 is quite an expensive machine but the money saved on water and electricity makes this washing machine an economical performer. The controls may seem daunting at first, but they are clearly labeled and are quite intuitive to use. It is easy to adjust this washing machine to any washing style. When installed on the level, the washing machine operates very quietly. If it is off level, however, it will vibrate excessively during the spin cycles.
